FOREST JUMP inaugurated!

Nearly three years after the first design sketch, the new “Madre Francesca Cabrini” square has finally been inaugurated and donated to the Lodi community of Livraga.

A forest of 50 oak trees surrounds and protects a garden-like square where lawns, shrubs, flowering bushes, stone surfaces and draining conglomerates, wooden furnishings, small neighborhood amenities, light and shadow rewrite the original character of the place, giving shape to a landscape where the only true protagonist, the void, is shaped by plant and architectural facades.
Rainfall is collected by an underground lamination system and then redistributed to the green areas for irrigation; an intelligent control and lighting system protects visitors from the darkness of the night; the vegetation contributes to a new urban microclimate.

The main part of the requalification masterplan is now completed

In the presence of the incumbent Mayor Giuseppe Ferrari, his predecessor Giuseppe Maiocchi, the Honorable Lorenzo Guerini, the President of the Province of Lodi Fabrizio Santantonio, Regional Councilors Patrizia Baffi and Roberta Vallacchi, RUP Diego Costantini, the entire City Administration, and a packed auditorium, our founder Tomas Ghisellini had the privilege of presenting FOREST JUMP, our project for this precious public space, which became a reality thanks to a virtuous process that combined iron-clad political will, profound technical and administrative expertise, and close collaboration among all project stakeholders.

The Livraghinis have embraced the square with surprising enthusiasm, immediately overcoming their fear of change. And this is what excites us most of all: having created something that will play a role, no matter how small, in people’s biographies.
