GA WINS SELECTION AT EXPOART OF THE TWO SEAS 2026
“FOREST JUMP”—the new “Madre Francesca Cabrini” public square designed by GHISELLINI ARCHITETTI—is among the winning projects of the “Oltre il fronte 2026” (Beyond the Front 2026) call for projects at the Messina and Reggio Calabria Art Biennale, organized by the Order of Architects of Messina and the Mediterranean Architects Foundation.
The jury—comprising architects Guendalina Salimei (Chair), Pino Falzea, and Claudio Lucchesi—selected this urban redevelopment project in Livraga (a small municipality in the Lower Lodi area) from among more than sixty submitted proposals.
Architecture aims at building bridges between the two seas
The inaugural event announcing the selected projects will take place on Monday, October 12, aboard the ship “Elio” in Messina. The gathering will serve as an opportunity to officially celebrate the projects admitted to the exhibition, present the showcase, and attend a lecture by architect Guendalina Salimei.
