“AIR”, the Ghisellini Architetti project for the expansion of the Palazzo Dei Diamanti Modern Art Gallery in Ferrara has been selected as one of the strictly shortlisted finalists to win first prize within a two-stage international design competition.

The proposal has been selected “for the capacity to establish a non-standard relationship with the historical building avoiding imitation and not forgetting the necessity for a clearly contemporary intervention”.
