OFF-THE-BOX

COMING SOON

The project embodies the logic of “thinking outside the box”—a necessary condition, if not a fundamental prerequisite, for contemporary communication. The agency’s creative spaces are organized around a gigantic translucent box—which absorbs and reverberates natural light from large skylights—spilling out like contents that have escaped their container.
Bucking the current trend that favors neutral, subdued, and minimalist environments, the project proposes a return to color as a means of defining space and stimulating the psyche, as well as an act of “heretical” liberation from prevailing fashions.
Rich, vibrant hues—using simultaneous contrast to consciously stimulate perception—take over volumes and surfaces, creating a shifting landscape that changes with every step. These impure colors, emblems of mixing and hybridization, signal a rejection of the mundane.
Beyond this “super-box” of light, spaces and volumes are arranged in a state of precarious balance—mirroring the nature of contemporary communication, where nothing is ever definitive but rather in a constant state of flux.
Fluid, expansive, and adaptable areas alternate with smaller, hushed, and protective spaces. The result is a “micro-city within the city”—an alternative realm where traditional boundaries dissolve, and where individuals themselves determine the atmosphere, form, and setting for the creative act.
