GA DESIGNS NEW ICONIC LANDSCAPE “GATES”
GHISELLINI ARCHITETTI designs the new “Doors of the Veneto Delta” to enhance the entrances to the Municipalities of the Conference of Mayors of the Po Delta area.
The project involves the creation of a symbolic installation at the entrance to the Municipalities of Ariano Polesine, Corbola, Loreo, Porto Tolle, Porto Viro, Rosolina and Taglio di Po, for the purposes of tourism and communication promotion.
Each installation designs an icon, instinctive and memorable, destined to make people talk about the places they belong to
The installations are conceived in the iconic image of submerged boats in the act of re-emerging from the subsoil, as an irrepressible memory of the origins of the Po Delta area, which has based its fortunes on navigation and resistance to water for centuries.
