GA speaking at 36th Architecture Seminary of Camerino
Ghisellini Architetti are among the guest speakers at the 36th International Seminar on Architecture and Urban Culture in Camerino (Macerata, Italy), the 2026 edition of which will be held from July 31st to August 2nd at the Sant’Agostino Educational Center of the University of Camerino.
This year’s theme is “Outside the City. Architecture, Landscapes, and Suburbs.” Rural areas, mountainous regions, and small towns are at the center. The focus is on how architecture, and contemporary design more generally, can contribute to the sustainable development of peri-urban areas and, with them, the majority of habitable land. The quality of events built “outside the city” is destined, in the coming years, to (re)determine our way of inhabiting places as well as the (re)distribution of the population’s settlement geography.
Can architecture (re)determine our way of inhabiting places?
Our founder, Tomas Ghisellini, will give a talk on the final day, Sunday, August 2nd, as part of the afternoon program starting at 3:30 PM at the aforementioned Educational Center, located at Via Sant’Agostino 1, Camerino.
