Ghisellini Architetti has been selected—with their Forest Jump project: the redevelopment and complete redesign of Piazza “Madre Francesca Cabrini”—for the fourteenth edition of Architects Meet, the international architecture conference held in Lecce from October 16th to 18th.

This year, the event, organized by the Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism, led by Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi, focuses on two themes:
RE-FRAME: In a world where too much has been built, architecture’s task is to recover, modify, improve, and interpret what already exists to give new meaning to the past and open new horizons for the future.
PERFECT TOILETS: Projects from the initiative promoted by IoArch and Tork to transform our cities’ public spaces into spaces of civility with the creation of beautiful, inclusive, hygienic, and sustainable public restrooms.

The conference includes presentations, talks, roundtables, and exhibitions in some of the city’s most beautiful historic buildings.
