Second Prize

GHISELLINI ARCHITETTI wins second prize at the national architecture and urban planning competition for the requalification and complete redesign of Piazza Matteotti and its surroundings in the city of Lodi, northern Italy.

PONGO, the runner-up GA project, proposes a three-dimensional connective tissue capable of physically communicating all the urban surroundings of the square with the square itself, generating a vital, porous, attractive and finally safe urban organism.
