To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of its foundation, the Department of Architecture of Ferrara is hosting an extensive program of events open to the academic community and the public in the prestigious headquarters of Palazzo Tassoni Estense, dedicated to discussion and dialogue on the topics of research, teaching and architectural design.

The opening day, held on Friday 23 September starting at 17.00, was inaugurated by the Rector Prof. Laura Ramaciotti and the Director of the Department of Architecture Prof. Alessandro Ippoliti and hosted the conference by the Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto De Moura ( Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal in 2001, Pritzker Prize in 2011, Piranesi – Prix de Rome for Lifetime Achievement in 2017). The subsequent appointments, organized between September and November, alternated moments of interdisciplinary debate with the participation of guests from the national and international scientific community in temporary exhibitions dedicated to the presentation of the results of the Department’s teaching and research activities and the professional experiences of architects graduates in Ferrara.

Ghisellini Architetti has been invited to exhibit its history in the context of the exhibition dedicated to the best Italian architects trained at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara. The rigorous and essential set-up narrated the evolution of the studio through a gallery of works from 2009 to 2022.
